"Starting over Again" follows the love story of Ginny (Toni) and Marco (Piolo). They met on campus where Ginny was an Architecture student, while Marco is a professor.

Ginny pursued Marco, her crush. 
In time, Marco also fell for Ginny and they began a one-of-a-kind love story. Unfortunately, their relationship ended when she left for no apparent reason. 
When she returned, Ginny found herself wanting to rekindle her past with Marco. Can her love be enough for him to forget the pains of the past? Can they ever start over again?










Starting Over Again is a 2014 Philippine dramedy-romantic film directed by Olivia Lamasan, written by Carmi Raymundo and distributed by Star Cinema. The film stars Toni GonzagaPiolo Pascual and Iza Calzado. It was released in the Philippines on February 12, 2014 and selected theaters in the United States on February 15, 2014.

The development began eight months prior the release date with a working title of "Unlove You". The film was written by Carmi Raymundo who was behind some of Star Cinema films like It Takes a Man and a Woman(2013) and Bride for Rent(2014). According to her, her vision is to stray away from traditional Filipino love story which is too mainstream already in the Philipppine' market, so the film was created with an aim to tell a love story with a twist. Meanwhile, it was directed and produced by Olivia Lamasan, the woman behind successful films such as Milan(2004) and The Mistress(2012). According to her, the film is a story of a lover wishing a second chance. Despite being the head of ABS-CBN's creative department, Lamasan was told to do a film that would fit Pascual, in order to make the reunion worth it since they hadn't do any project for the last decade. The film also serves as a reunion not only with Pascual and Lamasan, but to the lead actor and actress too, wherein 13 years ago, they have been together in a soda commercial. On an article by Manila Bulletin, it was stated that Malou Santos personally chose Gonzaga to portray the lead role.

Release

The film was released in the Philippines on February 12, 2014 and selected theaters in the United States on February 15, 2014. The film had a red carpet premiere at SM Megamall in the Philippines on February 10, 2014 and at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City, California in the United States on February 15, 2014.

Box Office

As of February 16, 2014 the film had a total gross of PHP 189,000,918 according to Box Office Mojo, or an estimate of PHP 200 Million as per Mico del Rosario, Marketing head of ABS-CBN. According to a report by ABS-CBN News, the film had the "highest first-day gross" among Filipino films on a regular show date wherein it garnered PHP 25 Million in the box office. The film then grossed a total of PHP 150 Million in just four days, and another PHP 50 Million on its first Sunday.

Now on its 3rd week, the movie has breached P300 Million!

The story was written by Haveyouseenthisgirl, a Wattpad author in the Philippines.  She had gained millions of teen readers for this funny romantic-comedy novel.  The unedited wattpad story was published under VIVAPSICOM, and translated into a movie under VIVA Films.

The story is about a girl with so many pimples on her face.  She was hired to become the personal nanny of a hunky, rich, spoiled student named, Cross. (Come to think of it, despite of his bad boy attitude, he still managed to be serious with his position as student council president.)

This was written by Bianca Bernardino, the creator of this story on Wattpad.  Another teen story that was published in Pop Fiction, an imprint of Summit Media publishing, is translated into a movie under Star Cinema. 

Athena Dizon collaborated with Kenji de los Reyes to pretend that they were in a relationship in order to win over his ex-girlfriend.  By so doing, Athena was beginning to fall in love with Kenji. 

How will Athena love Kenji when her days are numbered? Will Kenji finally realize he truly loves Athena?
